Peer Review Process

ARIV: Journal of Islamic Education is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published twice a year. The journal primarily publishes original research-based manuscripts and only accepts a limited number of non-research articles relevant to the journal’s focus and scope.

All submitted manuscripts undergo several stages of editorial evaluation, including a double-blind peer review process. Once a manuscript is submitted through the online submission system, the assigned editor conducts an initial screening to evaluate the manuscript’s suitability, originality, academic quality, and compliance with the journal’s focus and scope.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be anonymously reviewed by at least two reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. In cases where reviewers provide significantly different recommendations, additional reviewers may be assigned.

Based on the reviewers’ reports and editorial considerations, the Editorial Board will make the final decision regarding the manuscript, which may include:

  • Acceptance without revision
  • Acceptance with minor revisions
  • Acceptance with major revisions
  • Rejection

The editorial decision is final and communicated to the author through the journal’s online system. ARIV: Journal of Islamic Education is committed to maintaining academic integrity, scholarly quality, and ethical publication standards throughout the review and publication process
