Archive Policy
ARIV is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all scholarly content published by the journal. In order to maintain academic integrity and guarantee continuous access to scientific knowledge, ARIV implements a digital archiving and preservation policy in accordance with international standards of scholarly publishing.
Digital Preservation System
All articles published in ARIV are archived electronically through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and securely stored on the journal’s server infrastructure managed by the publisher. The journal undertakes regular maintenance and backup procedures to prevent data loss and ensure the sustainability of digital content.
To support permanent preservation and accessibility, ARIV applies the following archiving mechanisms:
- Local and Cloud Backup
All journal files, including manuscripts, metadata, reviewer documents, and published articles, are regularly backed up on secure local storage and cloud-based systems managed by the publisher. - Repository and Indexing Archiving
Published articles may also be preserved through institutional repositories, indexing databases, and academic archiving services to increase discoverability, dissemination, and long-term accessibility.
Accessibility of Archived Content
All archived content remains openly accessible in accordance with the journal’s Open Access Policy. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and cite all published articles without financial, legal, or technical barriers.
Metadata and DOI Preservation
ARIV maintains complete metadata records and Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration to ensure persistent identification, citation tracking, and discoverability of published articles.
Website Sustainability
In the event that publication of the journal is discontinued or the journal website becomes inaccessible, all archived content will remain available through preservation networks and partner repositories to ensure the continuity of scholarly access.
Policy Review and Updates
This Archive Policy may be reviewed and updated periodically in accordance with developments in digital preservation technology, international publishing standards, and best practices in scholarly communication.
