The journal upholds academic integrity, intellectual honesty, ethical responsibility, inclusivity, scholarly freedom, and respect for human dignity as fundamental principles in the dissemination of knowledge.
This publication ethics statement serves as a guideline for all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher. The journal is committed to preventing publication malpractice, plagiarism, data manipulation, citation manipulation, authorship misconduct, and all forms of unethical academic conduct. The ethical standards of MANTIQIA are adapted from the Principles and Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Duties of Authors
Authors are required to submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by another journal. Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals constitutes unethical publishing behavior.
Authors must present research findings honestly, accurately, and transparently. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, citation manipulation, or inappropriate modification of data and sources are strictly prohibited. All primary texts, philosophical works, translations, references, and other scholarly materials used in the manuscript must be properly acknowledged.
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant scholarly contributions to the conception, research, writing, and revision of the manuscript. All co-authors must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.
Authors must disclose any financial support, institutional affiliation, or potential conflict of interest that may influence the interpretation of research findings.
Research involving human participants must comply with accepted ethical standards, including informed consent, confidentiality, privacy protection, and respect for participants’ dignity and rights.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Authors must disclose the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the preparation of manuscripts.
AI tools may be used only to support language editing, grammar checking, translation assistance, reference formatting, or technical improvement of manuscripts.
AI technologies cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because they cannot assume responsibility for the integrity, originality, accuracy, and accountability of scholarly work.
Authors remain fully responsible for all content submitted to the journal, including any sections generated or assisted by AI technologies.

All manuscripts submitted to MANTIQIA: Journal of Islamic Philosophy are subject to plagiarism screening using Turnitin, iThenticate, or equivalent similarity-detection software before entering the peer-review process.
Manuscripts containing substantial plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, manipulated citations, or other unethical practices will be rejected immediately.

Reviewers should decline review assignments if they believe they are not qualified to evaluate the manuscript or are unable to complete the review within the allocated timeframe.
